Patient online bookings and more

We are really excited to officially announce that Patient Online Bookings are now available in Cliniko. I say “officially announce” because it was actually released a couple of weeks ago and over 25% of our customers are already using it. The response so far has been great. We have already received a lot of great feedback on this feature and made some changes accordingly. We also have a whole bunch of other minor improvements we will be making to it over the next few weeks. There have been quite a few other changes too (one of them quite big), you can see the details below.

I also wanted to mention our quickly growing community on our facebook page. This has become a great place to discuss new features that we release or anything in general related to Cliniko. If you do use facebook please visit our page and click the “like” button. It’s one of the easiest ways to stay in the loop. Recent Changes

Current time indicator on the calendar (29-Apr-2012)

There is now a current time indicator (thin pink line) that will appear on the current day on the calendar. This should help you quickly find the current or next appointment at a glance.

Calendar appointments now require a click to see the details (29-Apr-2012)

We had a lot of feedback that the hover details for the appointments were getting in the way on a busy calendar. You now need to click on an appointment to bring up the details.

Patient Online Bookings (02-May-2012)

You can now enable Patient Online Bookings so that your patients can book themselves in for appointments online. Cliniko will give you a unique web address that you can link to from your website. Patient titles (03-May-2012)

You can now add patient titles (Mr, Mrs, etc.) that will appear on any printed documents (eg. invoices).

The calendar now automatically updates instantly (21-May-2012)

Patient arrived audio alert (21-May-2012)

We have added an audio alert to let you know when your next patient has arrived. As long as the treating practitioner is logged into Cliniko they will hear a bell noise.
