Staying in touch with your patients outside their appointments is crucial and you’ve now got more options to do this using Cliniko! Whether it’s sending patients multiple reminders before their appointments or encouraging them to re-book with a follow-up message, it’s easier than ever to help them remain connected to your practice outside the treatment room. Set up your communications to go out automatically and save yourself time.

You can now:

  • Send multiple messages before an appointment. Provide reminders at different intervals, prompt a patient to remember their referral, or send a link to your intake forms—whatever you need to communicate with your patients, we’ve got you covered.
  • Send follow-up messages after an appointment. Improve retention by reaching out to your patients when they leave your clinic (whether that’s weeks, months, or even a year later). You might want to send aftercare instructions, feedback requests, or to follow up with people that haven’t made a future booking.
  • Customise your communications to make sure you reach the specific patients that you want. You can adapt your messaging to communicate with exactly who you need, when you need to—such as tailoring a special message to a no-show, someone who just had their appointment, or anyone who’s overdue for a visit!

These changes make communicating with your patients automatic and time efficient. Your messaging preferences can be set up directly within Cliniko, and your communications can be sent as emails, SMS, or both!

Our support guides walk you through these changes in more detail and give you all the information you need to know to set this up:
